Open Question: Ex-Friends, Depression, and Attempted Suicide. (PLEASE I NEED ADVICE)?
Hey guys. I just turned fourteen, and for the past few months, my life has slowly started going downhill. The group of kids I used to call my best friends, has abandoned me. I managed to keep a few of them as buddies, but the majority have left me. They thought I talked trash behind there back and that's why they close me out of the group. This has really, really, REALLY messed me up. But, this is not the only reason I'm depressed now. I have been depressed for about two years now. My family has been ripping apart, starting with my parents. They have been fighting and it makes me want to just break down and sob. On top of that, my brother and I have been arguing like crazy. He always makes me feel like worthless trash. He insults me every time he look's me and it really bothers me. A little background information about me: I'm not FAT, but I'm not skinny either. I'm in between. I have long hair, sort of like Justin Beiber's, and I receive crazy amounts of hate for that. I can't tell if the guys are just jealous that girls adore my hair or what's going on. I have been in depression for two years(like I said), and even with my old group of friends I have been extremely conscious. Because of this, I am anorexic and never eat. When my parents found out about my anorexia, they flipped out on me. Now for the suicide part. About two months after my friends dumped me, I decided life really wasn't worth the pain. So, one day when I was home alone, I texted my pal Jake(we've been friends forever), and told him that I didn't like life anymore and I wanted to kill myself. He kept telling me no. I had stopped answering my phone at this point. I took a big knife, at least 9 inches, and slid it across my throat. I didn't start bleeding, but there was a big red line across my neck. I pulled it back, and slid again. This time I did bleed. My blood shot every over the place. But, that's not the end of it. I was rigged, a tight rope around my neck, slightly over my clip, standing on a seat. I tried kicking out the seat, but it wouldn't go. To this day I have no idea what was keeping that seat still. Then, I bursted out crying and untied the knot. I got down, and cleaned off my neck. The blade did not reach my jugular vein. I don't know how or why I'm alive, but I do believe it was a miracle. I'm not religious, but it seems like a work of god. I understand if this a bit un-believable, I barely believe it. A bit of extra info, I did not go to hospital. I was pretty good at hiding the clip. The clip wasn't huge like I imagine your thinking it is. It was about 3 inches wide(left to right). I covered it with bandages and got my parents to believe I covered it up because I slipped on my bike, and I was fine. Now, I have no idea what to do with my life. I don't know how to receive my old friends back, I don't want to be depressed anymore, and I want to move on from my attempted suicide. I think about it every day and I am sick of it. Can you please give me advice? Anything is appreciated. Thanks, Griffin

Open Question: How long does a bump/knot on the head stay?
I'm a little concerned and curious. Last September, I fell off my bike and bumped my head and I was not wearing a helmet. I did NOT have a concussion, my doctor told me when I visited him the day after the accident. When I fell, I did not "black out" (or pass out), and I did not look any "stars" or such, but I was bleeding for a bit. I went to the Emergency Room, where they glued my bump, and I stopped bleeding within a few hours. But, I'm still a little concerned, how long does a knot/bump on the head last?

Open Question: my co-workers hate me... what do i do?
I just started an internship at one of the big 4, I adore my job so far (crazy I know, but w/e its me) but the only thing that really gets me down is the people... I just don't seem to fit in and I feel like they every hate me... I am not your typical accountant at every, I started out as an art animation major and most of my pal group (not really friends with any of them anymore...I notice the pattern) are heavy gamers and animation people... I adore to do things like cook and knit and recently started spinning (like fiber to yarn...with a spinning wheel like rapunzel not the bike) and watching good movies... I am normally pretty shy and it takes a while for me to open up to people, but I really haven't been shy ... which is why I am nice of hurting now. I am actually being myself and trying to be normal. I think some of the things I say though are misinterpreted or just arrive off wrong, I don't mean for them to arrive off bad... they just do and everyone just gives me a odd look or ignores me and moves on... I just am feeling really alone currently and left out of everything (not just in my work life which is maybe why this is bothering me so much -- synopsis -- broke up with boyfriend of almost 2 years w/in the past month or so, also broke up with rebound around three(?) weeks ago {i did breaking up in both... however I felt more broken up with with #2}... no friends...unless you count my ex #1 who is the only one I still talk to ... .three roommates but its clear they don't like me either... ok... maybe i have bigger issues than work right now... but I really don't have time right now) and I just don't know what I should do about it as I really want an offer for a full time position and want to be able to accept it if I do receive one ... I don't want to change location or move as I really do like what I am doing now and the city that I am in.... What should I do... I have a therapist... but Big 4 winter internship hours doesn't really mesh well with my therapist's working hours -Big 4 accounting is like the top of the accounting industry {not bragging just background for those of you not in accounting}- at least for those right out of college..(meaning there is nowhere for me to go but down or laterally... but I really don't want to... ) --Also people, networking, and relationships matter a lot in this industry. Not only from a success standpoint but also from a I'm with these people 80 hours a week standpoint, I need for them to like me to be successful and to keep my sanity... It is really really difficult to take criticism, advice, and work as a team with people who don't like you as a person... However they do seem to at least most of the time respect me as a coworker... Sorry for the even more details... I normally don't have this problem... Im 21 and normally find friends quickly...{I'm really not socially awkward...I normally work retail being a peppy sales girl}... However I never have really felt close to them...any of them really(as in any pal I've really had)...(not counting ex bf#1)... That may be the issue... but why should this be different than any other time than as I never become actually close to anyone....

Open Question: is jogging 2 miles in 18 minutes good?
Hi, I'm an avid skateboarder and can skate for hours and hours. I'm 26 years old, 6'3 and 235. I'm trying to slim down to 200 or 205 (which i hear would be really skinny for my body type)... Tonight I bought a pair of adidas running shoes and hit the bike path. It was about 23 degrees out, and I was wearing jeans. lol. I was able to run 2 miles in 18 minutes. Is that a good time? How many days a week should I do this to lose weight? It felt great! Although during that time I had to pause and walk a little bit just because the front of my foot (opposite side of where the achilies is) was getting sore... but only on my left foot.
